The Student Ministry of
Central Baptist Church Oak Ridge, NC
The L3 Student Ministry of Central Baptist Church is a place where students in grades 6-12 can come to engage in opportunities that begin or develop their personal relationship with Jesus. We operate off of three principles: (1) Love God. (2) Love People. (3) Love Always. This comes from the two Greatest Commandments as established in Matthew 22:37-39.
To impact our schools, the community, our families and the rest of the world with the love of Jesus in such a way that lives are eternally changed.
We meet twice a week for Bible study and enjoy a time of just hanging out with one another. Throughout the year we have various trips we go on including discipleship weekends, summer camp, summer mission trips, and more. These trips may be a full day, a full weekend or can even last an entire week. We are also involved with the community helping our local schools and local community organizations that reach out to the less fortunate within our community.
There are multiple opportunities for students to get involved:
Sunday 9:45am - Middle School School Sunday School Classes
High School Sunday School Class
Sunday 6:00pm - Sunday Night Student Bible Study
Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm - Student Small Group Bible Study

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
